"1"^^ . "I lived in a one-bedroom apartment. They certainly are cozy and I wouldn't recommend bringing too much that you need stored, as there is very limited space if you have a spouse or roommate. That being said, however, management is what makes this place great. They have a 24-hour accessible and reliable maintenance person and they really respond to your needs. \n\nUpon arrival, the apartment they originally gave us was overcome with tobacco smoke (it was sitting with no one in it for a while, making it stuffy, and the person beneath unfortunately smoked in the house making it worse). It was really hard on my wife and they kindly and promptly found us another one...seriously, I couldn't have been more grateful. \n\nThey do allow pets. I'm not sure the exact policy, but it is understandable. Apartments come with the common amenities (microwave, dishwasher, fridge), and of course you provide the furnishings. Internet is provided by the complex and it has worked great for us. The only time we had a problem was when I was uploading several photo files to a cloud source, taking up a ton of bandwidth. It made it slower to watch our shows. But we have had 2 sometimes 3 devices watching video in here and it has been HD and fast. It's great. \n\nTrash is on-site and they provide purified water as well for 25 cents a gallon. I certainly would recommend this place. I hope you have good neighbors, as ours have been great.\n\nNow, I noticed that other people posted some negative reviews and I would like to address them:\n\nTheft: Of course there is going to be theft. It's Glendale. Be smart, lock your doors, and just keep an eye out like you would wherever you live. Luckily, I have not been a victim to theft, but yes, cars have been broken into and stuff stolen from porches, but that has happened everywhere else, too. Trust me, I looked into it deeply before deciding to move in. I feel quite safe here, but I'm smart, too. Oh yea, and there is a security person walking around the complex at night. Seriously, just be smart and you will be ok. I don't know anyone anywhere that is completely immune to potential theft.\n\nNoise: Sure, the walls are thin, but it isn't terrible. If my upstairs neighbors are playing music LOUD, yes, of course I can hear it, they are just a ceiling away. It isn't terrible, though. Yes, I can hear the floor creak as they walk around. They aren't brand new apartments, so moving in here, well, I was expecting to hear some noise from my neighbors. Since I expected it, I wasn't bothered by it. I sleep peacefully at night, I enjoy watching my movies on TV with the sound at quite a nice level for my hearing (loud), and I enjoy singing in the shower. If I have a problem with my neighbors, I have the sensibility to talk to them about it. Of course, if it really is out of control, like I said, management is right there to stop any unnecessary activity. I believe \"quiet hours\" are at 10pm anyway and nobody really knows that, but people are pretty respectful around here I've found. I don't care if people are \"loud\" after 10, but my definition of loud is probably quite different from some others. Of course there is a possibility that your neighbors are pricks, I don't know.\n\nGuys, all in all, noise isn't a problem. If it truly is, talk to the neighbor you are having a problem with. If that doesn't work, talk to management. Like I said, they rock...but beware...they actually listen to both sides of the story."^^ . "5"^^ . "2"^^ . "2015-03-14T00:00:00"^^ . . . . "1"^^ .
