IMS is hardly integrated and one practice doesn't provide prompt results to another and they provide a wall of silence between you and your Dr. Nothing gets through to my Dr from my calls through inept IMS staff. They are huge on the precaution of having you see everyone of their associates prior to providing treatment and continually drop the ball on your treatments. I went undiagnosed for diabetes for almost two years when blood tests with highly elevated sugar levels were not diagnosed. I was finally diagnosed by a coworker who detected my symptoms and urged me to seek immediate diagnosis and treatment. Needless to say, by that time my A1C was at a critical and dangerous level. My Dr asked why i didn't follow up with blood tests. I said i absolutely would have if IMS had followed through and told me to instead of rushing me out and billing my insurance. A referral for a endocrinologist was needed from IMS which took two weeks. My coworker insisted I find a specialist quickly. I called one who said they could see me in six weeks until I told them my A1C and they said, come in tomorrow. This is just the first story I have about their poor practice. Looking for a new Dr. Yelper Lola S. had similar experience. IMS is an incompetent conglomerate."^^ . "0"^^ . . "0"^^ .
