"Two of my friends bought their Hyundais from Chapman Hyundai in Scottsdale. They got really good deals and they said their experiences were great too.\n\nHowever, I decided to go to San Tan Hyundai because it's a shorter drive. I just wanted to test drive the 2013 Accent and Sonata. A few hours later, I bought my very first car.\n\nVictor M. was my salesman. He is a great guy. He's friendly and knowledgeable. I never felt any pressure to buy anything. If you're with the Costco Auto Program, you can work with Victor get a car near invoice. I'm not sure how that program works though. San Tan managed to get me a financing rate that I wanted too.\n\nHowever, there was one time during my visit that really hurt my experience at San Tan Hyundai. The dealership escalated my adjusted sales price by $1800 by adding options and accessories. I'm sure this is a standard sales practice at Earnhardt dealerships, but it made me feel very uncomfortable. I was not given any pamphlets, fliers or booklets. No one, especially in this economy, would spend $1800 in 10 minutes without doing any research.\n\nI still purchased some options (tint+alarm), but that sales tactic destroyed all of the rapport and goodwill that I experienced at San Tan Hyundai. It's really unfortunate because I was starting to like the place a lot.\n\n(And my State Farm agent didn't care that I got the extra alarm when I purchased my auto insurance the next day.)\n\nIf you're going to purchase a new Hyundai, come visit San Tan Hyundai and ask for Victor."^^ . .
