I asked to be switched to the lower rate but was told I am on a 2 year plan rate so I could not switch plans. Fast forward, after my first year I put them on auto pay because I was traveling for work. The minute I had Cox on auto pay my monthly took an increase. Called Cox to cancel my auto pay and explained I was on a 2 year plan. They gave me a number to customer loyalty which I called. The number is always busy. Called Cox back and told them if they can raise my monthly billing after 1 year then I don't have a 2 year contract and therefore I am not obligated to any contract so I would like to end my service. They connected me to the customer loyalty department stating they will credit me for the overcharges.
