It is a lovely piece of folk art:3' x 5'.\n\nWhen I picked it up, and could see through the plastic that the colors were just vivid. They asked me to inspect it, and, as I was rushing around, I didn't.\n\nA few weeks later I unrolled it, and found the cleaning had caused large holes where apparently there were some weaknesses in the weave. (They photograph all the \"befores.\")\n\nI went back, upset, but talked calmly to staff, who assured me they would fix it. They tentatively asked to charge me, as there was pre-existing wear, and I refused; I felt the damage was great.\n\nNevertheless, they expertly repaired the rug...right down to clarifying the date (which was worn).\n\nSo, altough I initially had a disturbing experience, the staff more than made up for it...the rug looks like a museum piece.\n\nSo my only caution is to inspect the cleaned rug on the premises. Their work is wonderful. I should add they also did a great job on an antique Persian rug I inherited.\n\nHardworking, skilled, and very ethical staff!"^^ . "2017-04-01T00:00:00"^^ . "1"^^ .
