Healthy, amazing, fresh and creative foods. This has lead us to many a sushi house. Avoiding the white rice ridden rolls, it has driven us away from the AYCE and towards the more expensive end of the spectrum, and of course the costlier (really a word?) strip. Being that we used to do a high price steakhouse about once a month and gone rolling out feeling nearly comatose from gorging ourselves, we have accepted this. Having said all that.... My other half and I have deemed that thus far Sushi Roku has the top slot for us. \nFood was amazing, waitstaff was; attentive, patient and above all VERY knowledgeable about their menu. Other places in town act as though they are doing you a favor waiting on you... The staff here explained how things were prepared, what types of oils were used, sauces, etc. We could adjust to fit our healthier lifestyle, but honestly once we were clear on what we wanted the waitstaff took care of everything! \nWe did the Chef's tasting menu and what others are talking about on here I have no idea. This is not a Costco (bulk buying) type of sushi place. If that is what you are looking for this is not the place for you. Take time, ask questions. \nSake flight was also fun. Loved that they served it with the information card. The hardest part of these things is remembering what you are drinking after they leave and trying to remember. It was served with an info card that aligned with the glasses so you could read about them while you drank, and the waitress paired each with a specific course. \nSorry Tao, Social House, Little Buda, Nobu we have a new home. \nView also is amazing!! Gorgeous atmosphere. Hats off to the entire staff you should be very proud of your operation."^^ . .
