"I'm at the end of week 2 of an 8 week stay, so lots to say. I'll keep it short, since my compliments and complaints are the same as everyone else's.\n\nThe good:\n\n- The gym: 24 hours, big, well stocked with excellent facilities\n- The lobby: beautiful and a grand entrance\n- The bed: super comfy with warm blankets and excellent pillows\n- The free bottle of water\n- Friendly check in staff\n\nNow, the bad:\n\n- The room: super dated, banged up furniture, peeling wallpaper\n- Room service: took over 1.5 hours to arrive, and only after 2 phone calls to see where it was\n- Digital guest services book: too hard to read, and too difficult to work out what you want to eat\n- WiFi: exorbitant prices, and need to log in every time\n- Soap: leaves a stick residue and dries your skin\n- Housekeeping: generally lazy. I haven't had a single day where everything has been done (including 3 days where they missed replacing towels)\n- BnB restaurant: exact same menu as room service, my ribs were cold, and they held a staff meeting in the middle of the floor during dinner service\n- Only 1 power outlet in my room\n- Cleanliness: there's dust bunnies in a couple of the corners\n- Heating: it's always 19-20C in my room, despite the thermostat being set at 25C\n- Laundry service: a good 20% dearer than other Toronto hotels\n- Room safe: I can actually pick it up and move it\n- Taxi stand: you have to walk across the carpark to the taxi stand; they don't come to the door\n- The patio: no privacy from other guests, furniture hasn't been cleaned\n- No mini-bar\n\nThe annoying, but out of their control:\n\n- A lot of construction around the area, meaning there's dust everywhere\n- The cabbies are horrible and really badly behaved while waiting for fares on the property.\n\nThe conclusion:\n\nSo many little things that could be improved, but when you add them altogether, it's a really bad overall experience. I'm looking forward to getting out of here."^^ . . . . "2"^^ . "4"^^ . "0"^^ . "0"^^ . "2014-05-18T00:00:00"^^ .
