We were quite simply blown away by the food - with the standout, for me, being the \"Spicy Tuna Sashimi.\" \n\nThe sauce in that dish was unique, and extremely flavourful. I give big props for something that doesn't taste identical to every other restaurant. \n\nIn fact, all the dishes, compared to their peers at other restaurants, had a little something special about them. At least it seemed so on our visit. \n\nHowever, pricing seemed to be a little higher than comparable dishes elsewhere. It's a consideration, but I think you get what you pay for sometimes.\n\nAtmosphere-wise, the restaurant seemed especially quiet. Even for a weeknight. Not a lot of pop or vibe to it.\n\nStill, very enjoyable. I came to eat a great meal, and I was not disappointed. \n\nAnd upon reflection afterwards, a big intangibles jumped out as well: convenience. \n\nMy usual sushi standby is in Kensington, which I visit fairly regularly for lunch. But I never bother going there for dinner. \n\nWhy?\n \nWell, if something is too much of an ordeal, I really can't be bothered. And the parking situation in Kensington quite often sucks.\n\nSo a GOOD sushi restaurant next to adequate parking is welcome for someone like myself. As I have been known to say, \"minimum effort, maximum gain.\" \n\nYelp's 30 Day Challenge 2012 - 26/30"^^ .
