I came here for an IUD and after reading a ton of terrible reviews I thought I'd still try it because I don't have insurance and I'm newly self-employed so my income is lower and I knew they offered assistance. Getting assistance was SUPER easy, no difficulties or grief there, and the doctor was very friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and gave me extra info she thought was relevant and useful. She counseled and coached me through the whole process from measuring my uterus to inserting the IUD and all the medical disclosures. She had a mentee with her too who was practicing and shadowing so it was cool to help another woman practice her doctoral skills, but the doctor still did the insertion herself, which I was much more comfortable with. It is my uterus after all. Majority of the staff was friendly, but the other could be a little more patient. It is annoying to repeat the same stuff over and over again, but that's what you're getting paid for. I arrived an hour early to give my financial paperwork because if I couldn't get assistance, I wasn't going to get an IUD, and I wanted to make sure I answered any questions they had, but overall, from actual check-in to me walking out the door to get Ibuprofen (those initial IUD cramps yo) was about 45 minutes which is INSANELY fast for a doctor appointment. There will be good and bad days for any business, and I hate to say it, but don't expect to be treated like the crown pearl when you walk-in, but if you're polite and professional with the staff, they will reciprocate. Still, Dr. was exceptional as was her mentee."^^ . . . "0"^^ . "2017-09-06T00:00:00"^^ .
