We love local stores- love to support them, love the character that they bring to neighborhoods. My son and I went in for some \"big league chew\" about a month ago before his first baseball game. The owner all but sneered at us- it was as if we were a major inconvenience. I withheld my review as everyone has a bad day occasionally. However, my wife went in just yesterday and was looking for something specific and was made to feel like she was a major inconvenience. During both of our experiences in the store, it was completely empty. While I root for the small business owner, who is attentive, helpful, and gives the added benefit of that personal touch- our experiences were both terrible. I have to offer this feedback. Small businesses are built one customer at a time and there is nothing \"sweet\" about candy girl. I am glad to spend my money elsewhere."^^ .
