My husband and I were just talking about how Curbside is our favorite coffee shop in the world- and we weren't joking, it truly is, and for more reasons than I could count. We're well versed in coffee shops too, around Pittsburgh and in pretty much any place we live and visit.\n\nHere are a few of the reasons that this may just be the best hidden gem in Pittsburgh:\n\n1. The service. I'm not huge on reviewing service over food and drink quality, but at Curbside, you get the best of both. The owner knows my entire family by now and greets us like friends. She remembers things about her customer's lives and holds conversations with them while she works. She's such a cool person, and she only hires people that are as sweet and friendly as she is. \n\n2. The food. You'll find different combinations of both sweet and savory here every day. I'm always a fan of the chicken salad combinations, and I just had a turkey and honey goat cheese sandwich that was amazing. When it comes to the sweet options- there are several that line the counter made fresh each day, including the famous (or at least famous in my eyes) no bake bars!\n\n\n3. Of course, the coffee and fresh teas! I love just a plain cup of iced coffee here, but their lattes and other concoctions are fantastic. I'm also loving the fresh loose leaf teas they are cold brewing this summer, like the lavender vanilla earl grey! They also have great smoothies if you're feeling something like that.\n\nI know I called this place a hidden gem, and it is, but luckily people are catching on. This shop deserves great business, and as I sit here for lunch, I realize that several people have discovered how perfect this spot I discovered five years ago is. \n\nVisit Curbside, you won't regret the beautiful people, food and coffee you encounter here!"^^ .
