This is one of the most unprofessional companies that I have ever interacted with. The only reason I used them was because they were the contractor that my home warranty company chose to use. \n\nNow the problem: Our garbage disposal wasn't working. Not surprising, it was over 20 years old. I had already done all of the troubleshooting options before calling. I was pretty confident I needed a new one. Since it is covered by the warranty, I went through their process. They sent AM/PM Plumbing.\n\nThey never answer their phone. I called them about 8 times over the course of my almost week-long interaction with them and not once did they pick up the phone. So, every time you call, you have to sit through their 1-minute long recording before you can leave a message. And there is nothing useful in that recording. They don't tell you their hours or website or anything. But they do make a point to give you their phone number. You know, the one that you just called to get the recording you are listening to. Since they don't answer the phone, you need to make sure you are available when they finally call you back otherwise you have to call back and do it all again. It took me all day to setup an appointment because we played phone tag. The appointment was set for two days later, on a Saturday.\n\nNow for the actual service. The tech arrived 1.5 hours late. In fairness, he did have vehicle problems and he did let us know. When he arrived, he looked at the disposal and realized it needed to be replaced. Not surprising. But he didn't have one in the truck. We were going to have to schedule another appointment for him to come back to replace it. Not ideal, but okay. He left. A few hours later, we received a call from a supervisor. Great, we thought. Let's get the appointment scheduled. But that wasn't what he was calling for. Instead, he started asking really suspicious questions about the tech they sent us. It made us feel uncomfortable about having him in our house. When his questions were done, we asked about our disposal. He wasn't even aware that we were supposed to get one. He thought the work had been completed and told us the tech should have had one in the truck. He said he could probably send someone out the next day (which was a sunday) to install one. He said he would call us back. Great. Except he never called us back. I waited until later that night, called back around 7pm. While that is outside typical hours, the company does say they offer 24 hour service. I left a message. I called back the next morning (the day the supervisor said he could send someone out) and left another message. We didn't hear anything that day. Finally, the next morning (Monday - 48 hours after our original appointment), Trish from the office called us back. She said the earliest they could send someone was the next day (Tuesday) between 3 and 5pm. I told her that wasn't good enough. I was able to negotiate down to 9-11am. But it still meant I had to miss another day of work. I also informed her that I still expected a call from the supervisor to discuss the inappropriate questions he asked and why he didn't call back despite promising that he would.\n\nTuesday morning arrived. By 11am, the technician had not arrived. Nor had I received a phone call. So, I called the company, listened to the awful message again and left another message. About 10 minutes later, he showed up. He replaced the disposal in 5 minutes and was gone. He barely said 5 words to me, and none of them was an apology or an explanation.\n\nI still have not received a phone call from the supervisor. I am not holding my breath. This company is not trustworthy at all.\n\nI am confident that if I wouldn't have called repeatedly, then they would have had no idea that I still needed the disposal. They never would have called me to initiate the follow-up appointment, which shouldn't have been necessary in the first place.\n\nI would not recommend this company for any plumbing service (or any service for that matter). I would ask my 9-year-old to fix an issue before I called them. In fact, if the thought to call them even crossed my mind, I would go to a neurologist to see if they could reset my brain somehow."^^ . .
