"Where do I start?\nI wanted to eat at Joel Robuchon or Craftsteak, but our group had 1(or 2) girl(s) who didn't want to spend $60~$120 for a nice meal. I was so sad.\nWe ended up eating at Fiamma, we waited 10min to get sat for 5 girls.\nDecor was nice and lighting was perfect.\nFOod was okay...\nFree bread sucked-this is usually a big sign of how their food will be.\nI like restaurants that focuses on small details like even the free bread, or the dipping sauce where the bals-ving gets lost on the bottom of the sauce dish. errrr~\n\nCarpaccio- This was the best on the menu! The truffle oil gave it a nice ending.\nFig + proscuitto appetizer- It was delicious but I can make this at home as well.\nThe lobster gnocchi- Gnocchi was not good at all..it was very mushy-like the bad mushy. My friend picked all the lobster pcs and left all the gnocchi on the plate.\nThe mini ravioli with braised beef- Ravioli was cooked just right! But the braised beef with the cream sauce was just way too heavy. Good thing I was hungry.\n\n\nWill I be back? Maybe if I just need a place to eat.\nBut this isn't a \"special\" place to dine for me.\nThis place reminds me of The Cheesecake factory or even Grand Lux Cafe +1pt."^^ . "2009-06-30T00:00:00"^^ .
