They are supposed to be Whirlpool certified technicians but basically did nothing but tell me what I did prior to them coming.\n\nWhirlpool gives me a date of Wednesday for 8-12. They immediately call and state that they can't do it until next monday. Fine.\n\nWindow was 8-12, shows up at 11:45. Stays till 1:15. \n\nTechnician tells me he's going to run the oven for awhile to get a more accurate reading because everyone preheats their ovens for 30 minutes. That's natural right? \n\nHe proceeds to get a fix on the temperature of the oven. He doesn't bring his own probe, so I lend him mine. He comments that he thinks mine is not calibrated correctly. I had 2 thermostats! Technician then proceeds to call in Whirlpool not once, but twice basically to tell them that it's within 20 degrees difference. My probe is in Celsius. I was next to the guy when he called it in. He never corrected the reading.\n\nTechnician states that on average, I am 40 degrees off from what the oven says. Meaning if I preheat and it shows 350, i am usually around 300 degrees F*. After 30+ minutes, my oven says its at 350 and my temperature gauge shows 400 F*. He proceeds to calibrate -25, then leaves. I ask if he's going to test it to verify that it works. He tells me he has to go to another appointment and tells me to check it myself. He tells me that if its not correct, I can call back to schedule another appointment. You seriously think I want another appointment with these guys? \n\nI call back Whirlpool stating that this is unacceptable. What a waste of time. This company calls back and asks me how things are and if I need another technician. I said yes, nothing was resolved and the guy left without finishing the job. Whirlpool schedules me 8-12 for the next day. Appliance Rescue called again to cancel and state that one wouldn't be available until next tuesday (8 days). They pulled that crap initially as well and I'm having none of it.\n\nNo more. You have a better chance of surgically removing the blood clot in your own head safely with a rusted knife then dealing with this Whirlpool Certified center. It's just baffling how they can stay in business. \n\nThe oven is not even 30 days old and Whirlpool won't replace it because these guys want the extra calls to go out to site and to bill them and collect. \n\nStay away. Stay far far away."^^ . .
