"I first called this place when I realized that my car's tires could now be used as slicks at the races. \n\nI spoke with Andrew who has a very condescending, not-friendly tone that sounds like he doesn't trust women with their own cars. \n\nI gave him my tire size (I've been single for awhile, I'm very familiar with how tires work) and the brand that was on the car. He looked them up and gave me a price. I told him I'd come by and pay because he'd have to get them from a warehouse. In the meantime I called another tire store and they were selling the tires for about $5 less. It's not a big deal, but $10 is $10. Discount says they match prices, but when I told him I found them cheaper elsewhere, but they couldn't get them as fast as Discount Andrew seemed to forget their price matching promise. Never got the difference between the two.\n\nAnyway, as soon as I got there I introduced myself as the person that Andrew spoke with. He brushed past me and proceed to 'verify' that I had given him the right tire size. That felt wrong and I told him that I gave him the right size, but again he was just 'verifying' (that I wasn't some dumb chick that had no idea about tires apparently) that I had given him the right numbers. I had, by the way.\n\nThe process was ultra fast and when I got annoyed with Condescending Andrew then things went a little smoother. \n\nI would have given this store higher marks, but being treated like a dumb girl just didn't do it for me and I also like for store policies to be adhered to and not ignored when pointed out. I lost $10 on that one."^^ . . "2014-04-02T00:00:00"^^ . "0"^^ . . .
