"We live right by Illumination and saw the construction over the last few weeks and were really curious about how it all came together. \n\nWe got a pass to go in the mail and decided to go tonight with our three kids. \n\nBe prepared to wait in the line to get in 30-60 mins but don't tune into 87.9 until you get into the park because they only cycle through about 6 songs and you'll hear the entire realm of songs before you even get in. On that note, the song choice is really odd. You would expect a cycle of holiday classics, maybe some song infusions, but that's not what you get. It was a little off putting to the light display itself. \n\nThey tell you to turn off your headlights and some people still didn't so hopefully you don't have someone behind you trying to ruin the fun for everyone. They also tell you to stay inside your vehicle but there were literally cars that had kids sitting on tops of the roofs, so the rules are rather lax. \n\nThe lights themselves were entertaining and there were cactuses, snowmen, nutcrackers, dancing trees and light tunnels, so the kids thought all of that was fun. \n\nAt the end of the light show you can exit or go to Holiday Boulevard. The offerings on Holiday Boulevard are not covered in the cost of admission so the food, jump houses, and Santa photos are extra and there is an atm available. Bathrooms are there as well; port o potties a plenty. \n\nWould I recommend it? Yes, but only if you have a bigger group, are patient, and are local/not wanting to travel around the valley for other light displays."^^ . . . "1"^^ . "3"^^ . .
