I guess when they moved me to a larger unit, they forgot to transfer my student discount so I got overcharged one month. I called Tammy and she promised to credit it back to me (it was only like a 17 dollar difference) for the following month. The following month I was charged the correct monthly amount but no credit back. When I confronted them about the situation they first got very defensive and said that I made a mistake in my calculations and they didn't owe me anything. After I explained to them the situation and told them I had all the dates and receipts as proof they admitted their mistake but said they couldn't override the system, that only a manager could do it... basically giving me the impression they weren't willing to do it. \n\nI also felt like they overcharged me when they initially upgraded me to the larger room because the numbers weren't matching up with what I had calculated, but it was only like a couple dollar difference so I decided to let it go.\n\nHonestly, the monetary value isn't as important as the principle of the matter. If I'm paying almost 300 bucks and I ask for a small credit back from a mistake on their part, I don't think it's asking much... and I am a student after all! Sure I lost 25ish bucks, but I lost a lot more in time, effort and frustration trying to figure out if and why I was being overcharged from what's on my contract."^^ .
