"After not hearing very good things about this hotel with regards to the antiquated rooms and loud noise level, I set my expectations pretty low.\n\nThe check-in queue wasn't very long but still took nearly an hour before I was able to get to the counter. The person who was directing people from a single queue ended up splitting people up into multiple lines so the people who were originally queued-up behind me actually got to the counters way before I did. I thought that was a huge misstep.\n\nNevertheless, I was pleased with my room as the hotel seemed to be in the midst of renovating certain sections of the hotels and so I was able to get a newly renovated Carnival Tower room so that was nice.\n\nSome of my colleagues complained of shabby outdated rooms and music outside their rooms that lasted until 2 in the morning but I did not suffer as such. Instead, I don't have a fridge and got a dud conditioner dispenser in the shower which housekeeping did not seem to notice at all. I did not bother calling maintenance.\n\nGot locked out of my room but security came up quickly to the rescue so that was helpful.\n\nAnyhow, it's an okay hotel but nicely-located on the strip with easy access to the monorail, restaurants and other hotels."^^ .
