I was greeted upon arrival and asked if I wanted the package to arrive for Christmas.  I said yes.  Told her the value was $120 and answered a few questions.  She rang it up, printed a label and told me I could swipe my card.  I looked at the screen and it was over $50!!!   My package weighed about a pound, and was the size of a large recipe box.  Crazy!  Who on earth would pay $50  to send a $120 item???  She stated it was the only way I could get it there for Christmas.  They could send it ground, but it was not likely to get there.  I canceled the shipping, went to the post office where the postal worker happily took my $10 and change and promised it would take 2 days and arrive in plenty of time for Christmas.  Never again UPS, never again.  What bothered me most, I think is the time wasted ringing me up without even telling me the price ahead of time.
