I am a AAA member and I will have it towed to another dealership that works on Subaru's if that's what I need to do. I'm not sure where to start? Let's start with the fact that WHATEVER they did to my Subaru with just 10,900 miles on it, my engine CRACKED and was done! I had gotten off the highway and when I hit the gas pedal my car was NOT MOVING like it stalled out! Long story short because I don't want to keep talking about this place but my engine block cracked and I needed a NEW engine from Japan. I borrowed a Subaru Forester for a month and WHATEVER they did wrong to my car they KNEW they were at fault but I was able to get from an employee \"They may or may NOT have given you the right oil with your oil change and with the heat this summer...\" That was the best SECRETIVE \"response\" I could get. Whatever, they took care of the issue but WHY AND HOW?? Why did they put the wrong oil in if that was the problem?? How did this happen exactly?? On top of that, I have NEVER seen so many \"kids\" working on cars. This was abundantly clear to me when I came in to pick up my car a nice red Subaru SVX '92 or 93' was there getting worked on and I overheard a SARCASTIC young mechanic say to the service specialist \"So, basically this guys wants someone to work on this car who was born before it was made.\" WHAT!?!?!? NO ONE THERE WAS BORN BEFORE '92????? These \"employees\" must be RIGHT out of school! That is just the START of my issues here. Well, I am near Oakwood Village now which has the Bedford Auto Mile right there close by so I stopped taking my Subaru to Ganley Westside (GOOD CHOICE, My roommate did the same thing) and went to Ganley Subaru of Bedford. Well, I had an inspection done with a recent oil change at the time and Ganley Bedford said everything looked good EXCEPT ONE THING. Ganley Bedford claimed that my brake line was \"NOT FLUSHED\" and if it had been it looked \"dirty\" and this flush should have been done with your 30,000 mile service. Well, as soon as the service worker at Bedford told me that, I said \"Stop right there. Ganley Westside Imports DID perform the 30,000 mile service so you need to check with them. WELL, that's where this story gets interesting and the MAIN reason I will NOT do business with them and have told my parents who bought their Subaru there USED to go elsewhere. I waited another 45 minutes at the Bedford dealership, this was not their doing as we were waiting to hear back from Ganley Westside Imports. How thoughtful of Westside. Maybe to get their stories straight. Whatever Westside Imports told Bedford it required the service manager Mike, three other people as well who did NOT introduce themselves, to walk up to me where I was waiting and said, \"I'm Mike ****, the service manager here and I personally took a look at your brake line and I'm okay with it for now.\" For now? Do I need my brake line flushed again soon or what? I was perplexed at this response but then ANOTHER service specialist that was finalizing my bill said, \"Sorry for the wait but we really had to look over your brake line and if they flushed it, it looks controversial.\" CONTROVERSIAL?!?!?! WHAT!?! I asked him should I just get them flushed now?? He said, \"We looked at it and it's okay for now but we will keep watching with every inspection.\" Wow, I was not convinced that I was okay. If any problems arise or any abnormal feelings with the brakes they told me to come back and they would deal with the issue and Westside Imports as well. I have NEVER taken my car elsewhere so this was STRICTLY on Westside Imports. So, I paid my bill and what happened next was ALMOST planned I feel like and still feel like to this day. A man, who I regret ever speaking with, named Jason (if that was his real name, I hear there is a revolving door at Westside Imports but what do I know, I'm not there to witness ALL their mistakes). Anyways, Jason calls me and right from the start he was arrogant and condescending. He says that six months ago in September he did the 30,000 mile service with a break flush and CLAIMED he showed me the paperwork while saying I SHOULD remember that moment, six months ago, and told me it was done then and that he spoke with the manager at Bedford and he said it was done, so Jason implied, \"It was done.\" Why the emphasis? I said immediately, \"No, they told me here, 'it looks okay but controversial.' This started an argument with him over the phone on Bedford's showroom floor where I was waiting. I thought I was the customer?? DON'T TELL ME YOU WORKED ON MY CAR JASON IF IT WASN'T DONE RIGHT!!! Jason actually said, \" I'm REALLY trying to watch what I say here, the manager said we did it so we did do it. Now you're telling us Mike (the manager at Bedford) told you something different.\" Well Jason, he DID tell me something different! Finally, Jason became SO enraged that he made the offer to do it again! NO WAY JASON!"^^ . "1"^^ . "4"^^ . .
