My daughter was in *one*. One performance out of 47! Oh...and she was also in the finale. so technically, I guess, that makes it two.\n\nI noticed that some performers were in several (and when I say \"several\" I mean five or more) dance numbers even before intermission. My kid was in dance #26, which means I had to sit through 25 performances before, and if I wanted to see her in the finale, had to sit through another 20!!\n\nWe paid $14 a ticket, same as everyone else, to see our daughter perform and were disappointed. I'm glad we didn't invite friends and relatives as we would be embarrassed at the expense and effort they would have made too see our kid in *one* performance. This was our \"reward\" for schlepping her to dance class this year and lining the school's pockets with our hard-earned money.\n\nAlso, 3+ hours is an excessively long showcase. Not very good for older folks and parents who have no choice but to bring small children along. 90 minutes and a more balanced featuring of students would make for a much better show."^^ . "0"^^ .
