I was dying for a massage while I was in Vegas, but wanted to make a full day experience out of it. After much research and my faith in my trusty Yelpers - I booked a massage at QUA. I arrived about an hour and fifteen minutes early so that I could really get some good time in with all the different body spoiling options. The attendant at the front desk was so delightful and pleasant. Check plus. I was quickly informed that the Roman Baths were currently under maintenance for the day and would be closed while I was there, but perhaps be open later in the day. Oooh - sad face. As long as everything else was functional - I'm sure I'd get by. Once I entered into the spa and was shown around - sad face melted away and relaxed zen face took its place. Digital lockers - no keys to tote around or lose. Just don't forget your combo. Perfect mid-weight robes. I made full use of the whirlpool and then made my way between the artic room and the steam room. I LOVED the steam room. Perhaps my most favorite part of the whole experience. The chilled minty towels are so wonderful for keeping your face and neck refreshed. The showers... oh the heavenly showers. I'm pretty technically inclined, but they took a few tries to figure out how to turn them on - and once they were one, I didn't want to turn them off. If I didn't have a pending massage appointment in five minutes, I'd probably STILL be in the shower. The lounge area is so comfortable and relaxing - selections of water, tea, coffee, snacks, and fruit...the chairs were sink in and doze off comfortable. Massage time - it was good. But just good. Not memorable. I really enjoyed the massage oil - it wasn't oily, greasy, or over powering. The scent was delightful. I love the hot towel on my feet and back during the treatments. I also enjoyed starting in a supine/face-up position. I've never had a massage like that before and it was very nice to have all the tension in my neck and shoulders worked out first (mental note). The therapist was very sweet and could certainly get in deep. Much appreciated. After the massage, I returned to the steam room... and the arctic room... and the steam room... showered and took my sweet precious time getting ready. Anything you might need is available - toothpaste, toothbrushes, body lotion, powder, dryers, and even brushes that are under UV sterilization. I thought that was a very nice touch. I didn't happen to notice face lotion - so I'd recommend bringing your own if you think you'll need it. I spent the rest of the day walking around on Cloud 9. Happy wife, happy life... which made it easier for my husband to stomach the bill. I figure for four hours of pure bliss, a good massage, a nice relaxing time in all the hot, cold, and steamy rooms - the price is extremely fair. The attendants were exceptional. The facilities were spotless and well stocked. I can't wait to get back to Vegas... even if I don't get a treatment, I will most certainly be spending some hours just relaxing in the facilities. More than worth the $45."^^ . . .
