"When one moves into a big city, it's easy to get an array of answers to the question \"Where's a good place to eat around here?\" But ask \"Where can I find a good tailor?\", the answers you get are usually based on what's in the area, where they've seen a tailor before etc...\n\nMagic Tailor was recommended to me from a friend who, as mentioned above, was pointed to this tailor's direction because it was across the street from where she got her pants. And with me, being a lady who stands at 5', hemming of pants is a given these days. What I've never taken to a tailor before was an oversized leather jacket.\n\nLet me tell you kids something: superb work!\n\nThe man worked his magic (pun very much intended) by tightening up the shoulders and shortening the sleeves. When I naively asked him to just remove the shoulder pads ('cause I've grown to view shoulder pads as evil), he actually said it would lose its shape and suggested inserting a thinner, smaller padding. You would not have guess that someone broke into the lining of that coat and changed up the pads for a more modern look.\n\nThe pricing is very decent for this gent who definitely knows his craft!"^^ .
