Well...it worked! Most of all she validated my feelings over my experience and sought to understand my needs. I now look forward to going back and trying the more experienced stylist that she recommended.\nThank you, Saskia!\n\nOriginal review:\nIt makes me so sad to give this place 2 stars. I really wanted to love it here. Everyone is so genuinely kind at this salon, but after 3 visits in 2 weeks...my hair still isn't right.\n \nI went in for a cut, partial highlights and color. First visit the color was off and the cut was OK. After trying to live with the color for a week I called and told them I just didn't feel comfortable and they agreed to have me back in to fix it. In fact they were SO nice and accommodating! \n\nOn visit #2 the color was fixed with the helpful advice of the owner who told my stylist exactly what to do, but the new cut now looked way off! So after living with haircut #2 for another week and contemplating my options, I decided to make a brand new haircut appointment (#3) and pay full price for a haircut just two weeks after my initial visit thinking maybe I just wasn't clear in what I was asking for. But haircut #3 just created new problems..the bottom is all wrong and the layers look lopsided. I see people all over town with the haircut I requested who have my hair type so I didn't believe I asked for something unrealistic. \n\nAlso, I know that I was clear that I don't like my hair styled bone straight...and I left the salon three times with bone straight hair. \n\nI'm so bummed that this place didn't work out. Everyone seems lovely but the stylist and I didn't click in terms of her capabilities and my hair needs and I'd feel uncomfortable trying someone else in the same salon. I don't even know why I was assigned to their least experienced stylist. I would have paid more for someone that truly knew how to cut curly hair.\n\nI would recommend to the owner to have better oversight of her less experienced stylists. I'd hate to see more customers lost to a small business when it can be avoided. And my stylist was so sweet...I wish her the greatest success."^^ . . "0"^^ . "0"^^ . .
