Beats trying to park in Lawrenceville which is where they have their 2nd location. The store was nicely laid out but didn't seem to have a lot to offer Some of the scones we looked at were actually display pieces. When we talked with the counter lady we learned that some of the baked goods listed they don't make anymore.\n\nI was however blown away by the award winning Beatles' cake they had inside. It is truly a work of art and we were told that it was made for that purpose. So we each decided to get something small. My girlfriend got a shamrock sugar cookie and I bought a red velvet cheesecake bar. They do have a couple of small tables where you can sit and eat your treats. In addition I saw they had a burnt almond torte cupcake. I purchased that to take home. I did like the way she boxed in a plastic container to keep it fresh. I'll be eating that on another day.\n\nThe red velvet cheesecake bar was good and not overly heavy on the stomach. The sugar cookie was also good. Most of these items sell for just under $3.00 a piece.\n\nWith Purim approaching I asked if they make Hamentachen. She didn't know what I was talking about but said that if I wanted it I would have to order it as a dozen and pick it up on the Sat of the holiday. Looks like I'll be headed back to Squirrel Hill or Shadyside for them within the next week or so.\n\nIn addition to desserts they sell candies and doggie treats. It sits in the near the center of shops and restaurants in Aspinwall."^^ . "10"^^ . "2017-02-18T00:00:00"^^ . "4"^^ . . .
