Management needs some hospitality lessons.\nCame in at 4 for an early dinner while in the area shopping.\nSat in the bar/lounge area upstairs. They were 'open' but still a lot of folks prepping and stuff. If you're gonna open at 4, be ready and set up then or open at 5 instead.\nBartender upstairs was super nice and chatty, while he was drinking his coffee. He made some recommendations for me to have for dinner. See them below...\nWhile I was sitting there the bar manager (I'm assuming) was taking inventory, while they were 'open'. He was in the bar area for almost 30 minutes while I sat there and didn't even acknowledge my existence or try to make conversation, although he had no trouble joking and talking socially to the bartender...it was pretty sad that someone in a management position at a restaurant missed a chance to make a connection with a customer and make them feel welcome to the establishment instead of being cold. Almost felt like arrogance...anyways, I digress.\n\nOn to the food:\nPork belly - too much sauce on the cubes but the kimchi and flavors were delish\nTiger prawns - decent but just a little tough, maybe over cooked, sauce was good though\nBrussels sprouts - good\nKumomoto oysters - always my fav of the oyster family, but the sauce totally destroyed the usually flavorful oysters\n(Since the pork belly wasn't 'all that' for me, the nice bartender took them off)\n\nBottom line, not impressed and I doubt I will revisit the restaurant anytime soon."^^ . . .
