I live with several other people and we test the internet speed constantly. We have a brand new modem and after spectating and running tests it's not that. Spectrum plain and simple will slow internet speeds in hopes you by more. Which won't do you any good any way. It's a monopoly here but if any one made a competitive company I highly doubt spectrum would have as many customers. Especially in Monroe, NC. But they are quick to blame the modem for slow service. It's any thing but them. Try testing it out and bing off a tower. Super fast on your phone but super slow on wifi. Get it together spectrum."^^<http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#string> .
