"My boyfriend and I came here to take advantage of a Groupon we purchased. $15 for a cheese plate, and 8 wine samples per person, plus souvenir wine glasses. They have quite a large selection of mostly fruit based wines. The atmosphere and service were excellent but the wine was only fair ( hence my two stars) I tried the following wines: Cynthiana Malbec, Merlot, Chardonel, Dry Blackberry, Plum Pinot Noir, Apple Riesling, Pomegranate, and Pineapple Pear. The Malbec and Merlot were not full bodied, they seemed watery and thin. Not exactly what one expects from a Merlot or Malbec. The Dry blackberry tasted like juice, didn't have the fullness I would have expected. The Chardonel was good. A bit fuller bodied but again had almost a watery taste. They seem to do the sweet, light wines better. Of the wines I tasted the Apple Riesling was the best, in my opinion. We did purchase a bottle of the Apple Riesling to take home to drink in the very hot summer months. In my opinion, if you are a 21 year old used to drinking very sweet cocktails and are looking to \"try\" wine, this would be the place to start. If you are an experienced wine drinker, I would skip this place. There are far superior vineyards in the Charlotte area that would be a better bet."^^ . "2"^^ . . . "2"^^ .
