Dr. Luh DID NOT draw blood nor did he bother to check my hormone levels until I was almost THREE MONTHS PREGNANT which is when I had a miscarriage. I got an ultrasound and urine test my first visit. I was 5-6 weeks according to my LMP. He said the placenta looked very healthy and said to not worry, that I was probably 4-5 weeks & that in two weeks we should hear a heartbeat. I had told him I had gotten a threatened miscarriage from a previous clinic. He said I WAS FINE. Did he draw blood to make sure? NO! Instead he said come back in two weeks, so i did. He said again i was still too early! So i believed it. Giving myself illusions of the dead fetus I had inside me. At 12 weeks still not hearing my baby's heartbeat I started to bleed. I go to the office and I'm told to come back the next morning. All he said was to go to the E.R if i started to hemorrhage. And it was the first time he decided to draw blood to check my levels. The following Monday, i return and I am told my levels had dropped and that I was in fact having a miscarriage. We asked him why and his response was \"ITS JUST BAD LUCK, IT CAN HAPPEN\". That same night I started bleeding so much and I was in unbearable pain. I called his office and they said to only go to the ER if I soak up a pad in under 1 hour. After not being able to bare the pain anymore I go to the ER at Mountain View, where I am then treated even worse and sent home with nothing but advice to take tylenol if \"it was really painful\". I get a d&c done and go to my follow up and he didn't even examine me, he just felt my stomach, offered me birth control and said have a nice day. I should've sued for him & his office for malpractice had I known earlier that what he did was wrong. And who knows how many woman had miscarried and didn't know for weeks. He caused me weeks of pain when it could've been resolved when I first saw him at 5 weeks. I will never trust another doctor again if I ever decide to get pregnant again.
