Part of me thinks it's time to switch up a hair salon for various reasons (listed below) but I'm terrified to give another salon a shot. Here are my thoughts about L&G:\n\nHere's a few reasons why you should consider this place: \nThe fact that they use all Aveda products should make me feel comforting. I think it's also great that they give a free scalp and hand massage with every haircut, not to mention the free aveda tea (if you've never had Aveda tea, you're missing out). Then I love that I can pick the experience-level stylist that I want (based on price). Overall, I think the Ladies & Gentlemen folks do a really great job and I'm satisfied here as a long-standing customer. \n\nBut, there's a few reasons I've been thinking about switching to try a different location: \nThe chair that you sit on for them to wash your hair sucks. When I say sucks, I don't mean as in it's not high class enough, but I mean as in, my neck might break off one day if I continue to go there. I actually got a really bad neck sprain once from sitting on their hair wash chair too long. Maybe it's just me? I feel like the angle that it has your head tilted in is so uncomfortable. Everytime I go for a nice haircut, I start thinking about having to sit through that chair that might break my neck off one day. The second reason is I've heard from a lot of ex-employees of Ladies and Gentlemen that they love L&G, but that there are better places (i've been recommended to a few) and because of that...i'm almost intrigued to try.\n\nEither way, you can't go wrong with Ladies and Gentlemen. Aveda products rock after all (I use a ton of them!). But if you have a bad neck or back problem, make sure to reconsider!"^^ . . "0"^^ . .
