When he called to say that he had gotten free tickets and wanted to know if I wanted to go (this was when we were living in different cities), I was a little confused about why I would want to go on a trolley tour of Cleveland. Alas, who can resist a trolley named Lolly!?! Not me.\n\nI was a little nervous when we pulled in and sat down to wait for the trolley. We were the youngest people by at least 25 years. Most of the people waiting were elderly with one or two middle aged couples. Alas I was not going to let an age difference ruin our trip...heck, following the \"old people\" is sometimes the best strategy for finding the gems.\n\nThe whole trip was a hoot. It's a way to see Cleveland through a different set of eyes. You'll see University Circle, the Flats, downtown, the coast and all the rest of Cleveland but some of my favorite parts of the trip were just hearing the stories of the city and how it's changed. On our day, we stopped at the botanical gardens to see a bonsai tree competition before heading back on the trolley to the pick up point.\n\nGood ole Lolly is fairly comfortable. It may not be the best trip when Cleveland is up in the 100s and the humidity is reeling, but we went on a day when it was in the 80s and were comfortable."^^ . "1"^^ . . "2009-08-25T00:00:00"^^ . .
