"O em gee! \nCurrently my favorite place to eat in Madison and worthy of my first review as a Madison Elite. \nWe are not planners when it comes to eating out. I don't make reservations or plan a few days or weeks in advance but reading the yelp reviews and the recommendations from fellow yelper's I had to try this place out. (Note: make reservations, you will not be sorry)\n\nWe arrived a half hour early for dinner and decided to walk down towards the lake there was a play area there to entertain the toddler and tire her out/make her hungry for dinner. \n\nNow being vegetarians we are used to seeing the token 1 or 2 dishes on a menu or a note that they can make a few things vegetarian upon request. I was surprised to see at least 5 choices without modifications and all with different flavor profiles. \n\nService - We were seated promptly. Our server was very friendly and attentive. With our free chips and salsa (yelp check in offer) we asked if they had any spicy salsa's... she said she would be right back and came back with a tray of three different kinds. Our favorite was the pineapple habanero it starts off sweet and ends with an explosive 'cold' spicy finish. The others were smokey adobo flavored with varying levels of smokiness. \n\nFood - the toddler got beans and cheese taco with corn cakes on the side (we are raising a food snob). She loved the corn cakes! I ordered corn quesadilla, my mom got poblano peppers stuffed with quinoa and sweet potatoes and the hubby got spinach mushroom enchiladas. The verde sauce on the enchiladas were the bomb!! Delicious food!! We heard brunch is even better (a little hard to believe after a 5 star dinner) but I loveeee me some brunch so we are definitely coming back for that. \n\nDrinks - DAMNNNN they do not skimp on that tequila and mezcal. Mama likey! I was plenty happy with my 1 margarita. Sigh I've become a lightweight."^^ .
