In unit washer and dryer. We fell in love even though the location wasn't great. As we lived there, however, everything just started to go downhill rapidly.\n\nWe thought it was weird when we moved in and there was no deposit, but we came to realize at the end of our 12 month lease that they do that so they can nickel and dime you at the end of your lease. If you have a pet, you will be charged a $300 initial fee, $35 a month and they will make you replace your carpets after you move for $800. \n\nDon't park in low traffic areas, you will get your car broken into. (Happened to my husband twice). Thousands of dollars of things stolen. We also had friends and neighbors who also got things stolen from their vehicles and garages. We all filed police reports and reported it to management. Not that it mattered, since Metropointe management couldn't care less or try to do anything to prevent it in the future. They could have invested the money into security cameras, but instead gave the whole complex an ugly paint job.\n\nWe also had some other interesting things happen. Although maintenance was quick to come and fix things when they broke, we had bad feelings about some of the maintenance guys. There was one guy who came to fix something in our house, and saw our puppy there. He then proceeded to tell us how he disciplined his dogs from the get-go. Including how he would choke his dogs to show them he was the alpha male... ( definitely did not get good vibes from that)\n\nAlso, a friend of my husband who lived at the complex had a guy come to his door and pull a gun on him. That was kind of the last straw for us. We actually moved out early, and just paid for our last month of our lease while we were already gone because we couldn't wait to get out.\n\nSome final take-aways: Water pressure is terrible, as is the Internet (CenturyLink). It's a quiet place to live, but there is no aspect of community. I never felt safe there since there was such a high rate of theft. The rent of $900 for a 1 bedroom apartment is pretty ridiculous.\n\nAll in all, don't live here."^^ . "0"^^ . . . "0"^^ .
