"It is a great range, great facility, with lots of friendly folks. \nThe retail store has tons of inventory, but is pretty over-priced on a lot of items. The accessory prices are typically OK, but the gun and ammo prices are more than a little high. The group memberships are a bargain, but the individual ones, again ... are a bit too expensive. \nThe Range Officers are first rate - knowledgeable and friendly, but still enforce the policies. If there are problems, they will help you work through them.\nHaving a gunsmith on-site is handy, but I've never used them.\nThe classes are great, as well. I've taken the Pistol 200-500 classes and they were time and money well spent, with professional instructors who made the whole process fun and interesting.\nThe Wednesday night matches are fun and a good intro to competition type shooting like IDPA/USPSA, although not nearly as formal.\n\nI see some reviews bashing the employees dress and the RO's vests. The dress is basically a uniform (khaki Tac-lite pants and a C2 polo) and I would bet the vests on the RO's has something to do with insurance premiums, as does the sign on the door. I also saw a review complaining about the employees carrying guns ... ummm ... they do at every gun shop I have ever visited. A gun shop would be a great target for robbery if nobody was armed, just saying'"^^ . "1"^^ .
