I bought a Groupon for 2 front window tint. The material that comes with the Groupon only have a 3 year-warranty. \n\nI felt that I needed more than 3 years as I was planning to keep the car for a bit longer. So I chose the more expensive option with lifetime warranty. What was disclosed to me when I came to pick up the car was the following:\n\n\"The manufacture is very strict when it comes to warranty work. You will need a Dr's note saying that you have light sensitivity issues.\"\n\nSo did I pay extra money for warranty that I would never be able to claim? I'm never going to find a Dr. to give me a such a note. Plus I'm too honest to to lie. This should have made clear to the customer. Let them know what the stipulation is. If I had known, then I would have just stuck to the options that came with the Groupon. \n\nAgain. Why would I need a Dr note to show that I have light sensitive if the tint start to fade, tear, bubble etc? Why is that even required to do warranty work? It's material and labor. There should be a requirement of a Dr. note. Makes no sense.\n\nSo if you go here, make sure you understand their warranty guidelines. It won't be disclosed until they are done."^^ . .
