They installed a new hot water heater in my garage. My son was there and noticed a slight gas smell. The installer said he smelled it to and tightened a few bolts. After it was installed I started smelling a slight gas smell which got stronger with time. On Friday night, I called the company that did the installation and was told I had to call Fidelity to have them issue an order to come back out. Long story short, Ideal Services kept giving me times that they would be arriving but were continuous no shows on Saturday and Sunday and MONDAY!! On those days, I had to cancel my appointments and my mother's appointments to accommodate them. On Monday, we were scheduled to be the first appointment at 8:00 a.m. Again, a no show. When I called their company, I was told I was scheduled for between 8 and 12 by an employee with an attitude. I then asked for a manager who called the tech and said he would be there in 45 minutes. Again, a no show. At this point, Fidelity gave me permission to get my own contractor within their limitations. I finally called my own contractor who told me to call the gas company first to find out where the leak was. The gas company came right out and found the leak. It was bolts that weren't tightened enough. The gas company employee was courteous, polite and on time!! Yay for the gas company. Next time they will be my first call. After the gas company left, I received a call from an Ideal Services employee who said they would be there in seven minutes. Really?? I told him his services were no longer needed because the gas company did his job for him."^^ . . "0"^^ . . "0"^^ . "2017-05-03T00:00:00"^^ .
