I bought a Groupon to try out some classes at a discounted rate and see what it's all about. I've done cardio kickboxing in the past so I have some foundation but here they do a circuit of exercises, 16 stations total, so 16 people max. \n\nFirst impression: it's a small place but doesn't feel cramped. It's got a modern feel with a ring in the middle, and is well equipped with rowing machines, punching bags, TRX, jump ropes, free weights, bosu balls, and more. On my first visit, I arrived early to get oriented and Shelli was so helpful and welcoming. Each class starts with a warmup and then the instructor goes over all of the stations for the day. There are classes Monday-Saturday and each day focuses on a different set of muscles so that exhaustion doesn't occur. On Friday, it was ab day and I felt it for a good week afterwards. Saturday and Monday are full body cardio, Tuesday and Thursday are upper body, and Wednesday is legs. I look forward to trying them all and get a well-rounded workout. So far, my favorites have been upper body and the Saturday classes. At the beginning, it was hard to keep track of all the exercises and I'd always need help with at least a few in the first round, but by the second round I would get the hang of it. \n\nAll of the instructors I've had so far have been wonderful. Shelli, Chloe and Petra are motivating, prepared and very helpful. Love that this is an all-women's gym and the girl power is strong. The music is upbeat and pretty good. Their class packages are pricey but for such a great workout and facility, it is a worthwhile investment for your health and well-being."^^ . "3"^^ . . . "2017-09-13T00:00:00"^^ . "10"^^ .
