Chain-wide, the wings are consistent, the taps are numerous and varied, and the staff are typically friendly. This one is no exception. At Yonge and St. Clair, this pub is a good halfway meeting point for folks who live downtown (me) and folks who live in the north of the city (virtually everyone else I know it seems). Larger than many of the other Foxes in the franchise, this one has a more cosmopolitan feel to it, if that's possible from a chain pub. Must be it adapting to the neighbourhood.\n\nThe food is not dissimilar to that of the other franchises and it runs different specials every day of the week. There's a bit of variety to the menu, and the taps don't disappoint either. The beer appears in a wide variety and is poured properly. There's not much wrong with this place.\n\nI'm usually joined by my comedy-writing pals, where we'll chin-wag, down a few pints, and go over each other's jokes to see if there's anything funny in them. Anything. Successful writing night or not, the place is cozy, yet pub-elegant if that's possible. The manager at one point pulled me aside having seen us writing one night and told me he liked what I saw on-stage at Absolute a few nights before. Hey, it's nice to be noticed, but someone should tell him a real joke for once."^^ . .
