. "I would first like to start off by saying I was a loyal customer. Yes the wait was a long one always. The staff is not overly helpful but they always got the job done, which was normally just shots. My dog Zeus got diagnosed with cancer and we had to put him down. It was an extremely hard time for us. I had called the Office the week before we were going to put him down to make sure they did home visits they told me yes and then scheduled me. Then the day of the visit they told me it was an office visit, I had told them I had to reschedule because I wanted a home visit like I had originally asked for. It was an error in their scheduling. They then rescheduled me for the following week and told me the doctor would be out at our house at 11:00 sharp. 11:15 came and went I called the office and they just told me the doctor was on his way. 11:30 came and went still no sign of the doctor and I'm getting super anxious because were waiting, it was agonizing. I called again and they told me that he was running a little behind. 11:45 came and went and finally I called one last time to cancel the appointment. 11:55ish the office manager called back and said that the vet was on his way (he just first had to go pick up a truck.) My husband had to go to work and didn't want to leave me there to put Zeus down by myself. I let the office manager know that we no longer needed the appointment and that's when things got awful. She told me that the vet is super upset with me for canceling this appointment, that he is a extremely busy man and that we should be able to wait on him. When I informed her that we had been waiting and this is a very delicate issue, my husband didn't want to leave me home alone to put our dog down that we had for several years. The office manager then got very upset and told me that the vet was extremely mad, she said the vet said his time is valuable. Then she informed me the reason he was late was because he was in a life-saving surgery. However no one told me that for the hour that I was waiting and calling for him to come out. I was only told this when it was time for them to prove their point. I Informed the office manager that if someone was to have told me that I would have just rescheduled in the first place. If he really was in a life-saving surgery that absolutely would've came first but no one had told me until he was already an hour late and still not even on his way. I understand that the vet is busy and I really don't think I was asking for a lot. I would have completely understood if he was in a life-saving surgery if someone would've told me, It's just weird to me how this came up so far into the conversation. To be called by the office manager and for the vet to be upset at us for canceling I feel was very unfair. Sorry for such a long post, I just feel something needed to be said."^^ .
