You can go somewhere else for much cheaper and for a much better experience. I attended this school and got my license. They rope you in by claiming their \"hour requirement exceeds the state's licensing requirement so students graduate at a level that exceeds expectations.\" While this is true, you won't want to be there for those extra hours. The school is in a bad looking area. I once saw a drug hand-off take place at a table that was literally 10 feet from the front door! The equipment is in desperate need of repair/renewing. They also make you feel secure by talking about how career services will definitely help you find a job after you get your license. If you ask for the help, they can even find you a job while you're still in school. Maybe at the front desk at a spa. However, while I was in school I was going through a bad financial problem, and I let them know. They assured me that they would find me a job in no time. They never spoke with me again on the matter. Even when I asked for help after I got my license, all they did was give me the website so that I would be able to see exactly what they see as far as job openings. They eliminated the middle man (them) and just pushed me off on my own... AGAIN! \n\nDuring the last few months of attending this horrendous school, I had found a job as a Sales Associate at Massage Envy. I found this job all on my own. Now, a little more background info about what Steiner claims... They claim that they have a very high success rate of their ability to find students jobs. So, when I got my license and wanted to give facials at Massage Envy, and leave the front desk, Steiner sent me a form to fill out. I wasn't sure what it was but I though it had something to do with my license so I filled it out. It turns out they wanted to add me to their \"success\" list or something like that so that they could raise their percentage of their ability to find their students' jobs. I found this job by myself and they tried to raise their percentage off me when they in no way actually helped me secure me this job.\n\nAs for the students, everyone acted as if this were a 7th grade locker room. There was so much tension and almost no one took it seriously. As for the staff, no one cared about the students. It was just a job to them. A job that they did not take as seriously as they should have.\n\nIn conclusion, yes I got my esthetician license. Yes, I got the necessary education requirement. But it came as such an overrated price for a very undeserving school. Please, to anyone who is thinking about attending Steiner... DON'T."^^ . . "0"^^ . "0"^^ . "1"^^ . .
