Scheduled an appointment for 2:00. Working as a clinician as well, I had to take off my entire afternoon for the appointment, while seeing my last patient at 1:00 at my office. I called the morning of my appointment to confirm my appointment time of 2, and the office administrator stated it was for 1:50. I stated I was unable to make 1:50 do to my schedule, but that I could be there at 2. The OA said that was fine and to just come at 2. At 1:15 that day, 45 minutes before my appointment time, another OA called me to state that they will not be doing my cleaning, but just my eval and X-rays. When I stated that all I made the appointment to get a cleaning, that's the only thing I needed, she said she would call me back. I then called the office back on my way there at 1:30, and was told that then may or may not have enough time to do a cleaning. She stated that by me coming in 10 MINUTES late (at, 2:00 which was the appt I had made) he would only have 50 minutes blocked to do eval, X-rays, and cleaning, when a new patient eval takes him 80 minutes total. To which I then asked, why my appt was not blocked with efficient time??? By what she said, if I had showed up at 1:50, when they \"had me scheduled\", I would then have only been allotted 60 minutes total for an 80 minute evaluation?? I have A very busy schedule, took off an entire afternoon to get this cleaning, and now they were saying they couldn't even get to it? Unacceptable. I don't have time to take off multiple afternoons when they didn't a lot me the proper time to get done what I needed done. This was my first time here, and I will not be seeing this dentist. When it is this hard to just get a cleaning... you clearly can't make an appointment and trust that they have allotted the appropriate time without inconveniencing you and having you come back! \nBad customer Service and the entire time they act as though it is my fault.\nWon't be giving them my service."^^ . . .
