It was Sunday afternoon and I was in a bit of a crunch to get my nails done. My regular place couldn't squeeze me in so I had to find someone to take me as a walk in. Out of desperation - I went over to the mall. This was a horrible idea.\n\nDespite the fact that I told Kenny (my nail tech) exactly what I wanted, he argued with me about everything. \n\n1. He wouldn't cut my acrylics shorter because, he said, they were \"a good length\". Ok, awesome... but they are too long for me; I like them short. That's why I asked him to trim them before the fill. \n\n2. He wouldn't do a gel topcoat. I know it costs extra. I pay extra for it. He flat out wouldn't do it. He said I'd have to come back the next day. He told me that my nails would be fine without it. When I managed to chip one BEFORE I LEFT THE SALON, I tried to convince him again. He told me not to be so rough on them (he also wouldn't fix it). \n\n3. They wear latex gloves in the salon. I'm allergic. I don't have Hepatitis. I get that it's probably a wise move, for the most part, to wear gloves. I tried to explain that I was allergic and couldn't have him do my nails with the gloves. He finally agreed, but wouldn't wipe down the desk. When my hands started breaking out, he freaked out and started putting on gloves. \n\nIf I hadn't been in such a bind, I would have left. I will definantly not be going back."^^ .
