I've been a patient for years and have enjoyed Dr. P's skill and manner, and the assistants, hygenists and front desk personnael were all experienced and top-notch. However, during a recent visit, I entered the office only to hear the front desk employee being berated by another staff member on not doing her job correctly. I had to listen to this discussion - which was not hushed or behind closed doors - while I waited. Then I was greeted by an assistant who I had never seen before, and while he was very polite, I soon realized that he had little to no experience in what he was doing. Example: he took my arm to put on the blood pressure cuff, but he put the cuff right over my very prominent silver bracelet. When I said \"Stop, my bracelet is on underneath!\" he said, \"Oh, sorry, I didn't notice.\" He then said he was going to do my x-rays next. Well, come on....who would want a technician taking their x-rays that doesn't notice details? I told him that I was not comfortable staying under the circumstances and left the chair. When I told the front desk staff why I was leaving, they said, \"Sorry, he's new.\" Please Dr. P, scrimping on salaries and hiring inexperienced assistants is not going to help your bottom line - as evidenced by just losing this long-time patient.\n\nOctober 2017 update // I have called to get my records, however, the rude treatment coordinator on duty said they don't have records, they only take before/after x-rays and those are their records. Really? They don't note the treatment used on the patient's teeth? She repeated that x-rays are the only records they provide. Oh my, what has happened to this practice?"^^ . . . . "1"^^ .
