Please, if you love your furbaby do NOT leave them here.\n\nIn total I paid $712.18 + $404.99 =  $1117.00 to board 3 cats. Yes, thats over a thousand dollars to board my 3 cats for a little over a month. One cat (my precious ragdoll) was to stay there for a total of 3 months while we do renovations - In total - around $2,300+ \n\nA few weeks after my Ragdoll went in, I received a call from Ron, the owner. He called me to let me know that he was going to charge me an additional $50.00 because it was too much paperwork that he had to deal with since I was boarding 3 cats. He said it was so much work he had to do, it was giving him a headache so it makes sense to charge $50. I was never notified of this sudden 'charge' due to his 'headache' beforehand. \n\nI asked him if he was aware that I was spending close to $1500+. He said that he will charge me $50 regardless because it I am making it really inconvenient for him to have 3 cats there. Then he sent me the invoice for the extra $50 immediately after we spoke on the phone (within 3 minutes). \n\nReally, I am making an inconvenience for services i am paying $2300 for?\n\nBefore the call from Ron, I went to visit my cat over the weekend and noticed a few things about the place - A) The place smells really bad. I went to a few cat shelters around Toronto and I never noticed such a stench coming from those places like this place. B) It is further, west/past Oakville in Bronte, ON. For people coming to Toronto it is NOT worth it to drive here. C) My cat is terrorized from his stay\n\nTHE WORST PART\nI cut my cat's stay short immediately after I got the phone call - I picked him up that weekend as soon as I could. I immediately noticed that he had lost a lot of weight. He is also very irritable and is acting 'off'. He tried to bite a family member - He has NEVER done this and is an absolute sweetheart. He went outside the litterbox for the first time in his life. He also has a fever. I took him to the vet and they are saying to monitor him for a few days. I don't know what happened to him while he was at the Cats Castle but I am definitely NOT recommending this place. \n\nAlso, although I picked my cat up one day early, Ron didn't forget to charge me for an extra day because the place 'works like a hotel, you came at 3:10pm so I can't refund you for that day\"."^^<http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema#string> .
