The restaurant is located very far east in Henderson, so the reviews stating that this restaurant is \"out of the way\" are correct. \n\nWe ordered three meat dishes, and each of them were delicious. We ordered the Seco de Carne (which came out like stewed heaven on a plate) as well as the highly recommended Lomo Saltado (if you like grilled beef with veggies, then you will love this). They pour love into their food here. We also ordered fried yucca root sticks (Yuquitas Fritas) for an appetizer, and they were phenomenal. We also ordered a fruit pie for dessert: a passion fruit confection that was amazing. The dessert wasn't sugary, with cloying sweetness, and was naturally sweetened...which is such a nice way to finish a meal. We'll assuredly go again. We highly recommend this place. \n\nSome reviewers noted that portions were small here. We didn't find portions were small at all. Portions were actually perfect and not overdone. I think sometimes we expect portions to be very huge. If you actually take the time to look at the plate, you'll find one complete portion of meat (i.e., 3 oz is recommended), appropriate size of veggies, appropriate size of rice (i.e., one cup). Take the drive, try it, you'll like it. \n\nNote: We ordered dinner meals during the lunch hour, which made the food more expensive ($15-17/plate). Lunch portions include a starter cup of soup."^^ .
