I guess it was a mistake to enter this place wearing sports gear of a Pittsburgh rival, because the bartender, who was wearing Pittsburgh sports gear, was apparently triggered by this. An innocent question of \"Will you have any specials on for the Super Bowl?\" somehow opened the door for him to let me know how awful the team is that I support. I can handle contentious sports banter but I don't expect it to come from someone who is serving me nor do I expect a server to speak to me in a borderline hostile tone in any context.\n\nThe service itself seemed kind of slow. Had to wait a while to receive the menu and then be checked on for my order. He started off good with bringing drinks and then kind of slowed down. They have a nice selection of beer and cider here. I ordered the Shepherd's Meatloaf, which is lamb & beef meatloaf, red skinned mashed, and a vegetable of their choice. It was okay, but the texture of everything made me feel like I was eating leftovers. The meatloaf was stiff, the mashed was really firm, the zucchini seemed barely cooked. \n\nI've had decent meals here in the past. Their burgers are pretty good. But you never know what you're going to get with this place, and my bizarre experience on Thursday is a prime example. \n\nI don't know if I will return. When I eat out, I want to relax. I want to feel welcomed. I don't want to think, \"Maybe I shouldn't go there today because I left the house with my team's gear on\"."^^ . . "1"^^ .
