Real room key, outside doors, etc. It's pretty good for the pricing around the area. The decor could use an update, but there's something kitschy about the floral patterns on the linens. The room was spacious, the bathroom was big enough and the shower got hot and stayed hot. Good pressure, like at a house not a motel. Room has a fridge and when I stayed at the DoubleTree in DC last month I couldn't even get that for 2x the price. Bed was comfortable enough although could be a firm more supportive. The TV remote was vaguely responsive but listen, this is quibbling with little stuff. It's a neat old school place that is way cheaper than the other places around and the dude at the front desk was super nice. Unless you want a bellhop or some ridiculous amenity that you probably won't notice and you're staying a single night on the way somewhere, stay here."^^ . .
