"WARNING, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY OR SERVICE YOUR CAR HERE. \n\nI bought my first car at this dealership when it was under different ownership (Desert Nissan) - it was great. Now, they have a new owner/name (Auto Nation), and I've had nothing but headaches since, to say the absolute least. \n\nFirst, when I traded in my car at Auto Nation Nissan, they input the wrong vin number. Hmm... that seems like the MOST IMPORTANT part of purchasing a car, doesn't it? I was not informed of this until their sales department called me a couple weeks later. I had already registered this car with the state of Nevada and with my insurance. So I had to do that all over again, and I had to re-sign all the papers.\n\nAnd I won't go into extreme detail, because this would be really long, on the service department, but I don't think I've went there once without an issue coming up afterwards - sensors going off that were supposed to be fixed, taking longer than it's supposed to, not washing my car when I specifically asked them to, leaving those nasty papers they sit on in my car, etc. \n\nBut the strangest experience of all occurred last week...\n\nI got my car back from a routine oil change, and I noticed I couldn't push my accelerator all the way down. I thought it would go away, but days later I was still having the issue. I looked at my accelerator one day, and I noticed a black plastic piece lodged directly behind it. Knowing nothing about cars, I asked my guy friend what he thought about it. He told me to contact the service department. \n\nSo I called them, and agreed to send an email with a photo of the black piece, so we could determine if it needed to be behind my accelerator or not. After a second follow up email, he responded (TWO DAYS LATER). He told me the part was a cover for the air conditioner that is located on the passenger's side. He asked me to come back in, so they could install it. WHY IN THE WORLD WAS THAT ON MY DRIVER'S SIDE LODGED DIRECTLY BEHIND MY ACCELERATOR THEN? It's very strange (seems plotted in a way?) and extremely dangerous. I'm still trying to sort this situation all out, but I felt ever so inclined to tell the Yelp community to steer clear (literally) of this joint. \n\nThis is my first Yelp review ever. I'm not one to publicly complain, but I wanted everyone to know that this place is an extreme nightmare. If you want a Nissan (great cars, btw), go elsewhere. I promise you, it will be worth it."^^ .
