I yelped (thank you yelpsters for all of your continued help!) and found The Great Greek... not the one I keep reading about on your way to Cali that makes me drool just from the descriptions... but there's a NEW ONE here in Henderson on Warm Springs!! Immediately I begin talking the 8 year old (newly picky eater) into the fabulous foods that await him, and my hubby and I repeat lines back and forth of 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding' (oh, if only you knew how close this is to our lives!) including \"YOU DON'T EAT NO MEAT! That's okay, I cook lamb for you.\" \n\nWe get there and there is not an empty seat in the house, and you can smell the goodies from the kitchen, and they have the desserts right by the cash register to get your saliva flowing! We ordered the \"Family of 4 Platter\" (approx $45) and as our luck would go, as we filled our glasses, a table opened up! \n\nAlmost immediately the salad showed up, simple with bright flavors that totally complimented one another, that even the 4 year old inhaled (and he is strictly a carbs/sugar kind of kid!) Then the platters came out, and kept coming! We had ordered a huge platter of the BEST french fries I think I have ever had, seriously! And then 4 heavenly Gyro's (2 chicken, 2 lamb/beef) on \"MELT IN YOUR MOUTH\" soft pita's, seasoned to perfection and oh so tender, and topped with the best goodies... and HUGE, did I mention how HUGE everything is? To top it all off we had 4 desserts that came with the platter, so we tried multiple Baklava and Shamali, that with one bite made our eyes roll back and a low \"ummmmm\" sigh release from the adults at the table!\n\nThe food was beautiful, and tasted amazing. What a treasure to have here in our little valley, that I KNOW we will visit often. My husband is amazing at packing in the food, and even he stopped 3/4 of the way and said he was done, he was so stuffed! \n\nKUDOS to The Great Greek!"^^ . . "5"^^ .
