. "Okay I really, really have to give this company mad props for a lot of reasons, and this review is for this specific location and the company as a whole. First off, I had quite the debacle with my internet service with They-Who-Should-Suck-Their-Own-Name after finding out they had screwed me over royally by letting someone steal my identity, so not having internet for a couple weeks in my new apartment left me pissed off to say the least. Luckily Centurylink satiated my lust for high-speed WITHOUT the need for a phone line. Oh yes.\n\nWe went in the store and were greeted by a lovely woman named Katie who completely helped me out on everything I needed. Since I had an old Embarq modem she was able to make the transaction quickly and also get me a great deal. High speed internet, the most they can give a customer, for $29.99 a month for a year. Now seeing as I will probably only be in this apartment for that long, I said what the heck. At this point I would have paid anything to be able to watch Netflix and kick people's butts around the world on Dr. Mario on the Wii again. But a deal is a deal. Unfortunately at the time they couldn't get the internet on for a week, but I'm letting it slide for the next few reasons. \n\nWhen the Internet was turned on, my modem didn't work. Since the power was turned off at my old place while it was still attached to everything, I have a feeling it shorted out. We went back the next day to see Katie and in under 3 minutes she handed me a new one, no charge. Wicked. There were still issues with this new modem when I got it home due to the phone line not linking up, but they were able to come out the next day and fix it, and make sure I was connected with my laptop. The repair guy was very nice and informative and I just thanked the lord that I was set up. \n\nNow when I got my bill I was kind of shocked at the price of the partial month charges, since it was $20.15 for 12 days, 2 of those that I couldn't even enjoy my internet experience with. I called the company who, wow, they actually ANSWER the phones without wait times and explained my dilemma that if I'm paying $29.99 a month for Internet and I only used it 1/3 of the month, I should pay around $10. Well he couldn't do that since I only have 12 credits for the $29.99 a month and it would be a waste to do it on a partial month charge, but he did take off the two days I couldn't use the Internet and a little bit extra, and knocked my bill off by $5.50 to make it a round number. That's more like it!\n\nSo let's get this straight. I have awesome high speed internet for cheap and the actual retail people are nice and not trying to screw you, repair people come out right away, and any little issue I have can be solved with a simple phone call. Yeah, Centurylink totally deserves 5 stars for their customer service alone but the Internet experience I have had thus far has been the icing on the cake. Keep up the great work!"^^ . "12"^^ .
